Super 1 Bedroom plus Loft Space, 1.5 Baths, email for rent and other questions.
Two floors, 1400 TOTAL square feet—1000 square feet on the main floor and 400 irregular square feet in a separate loft space.
Beautiful sunset view of the Olympic Mountains and Elliott Bay from both floors.
Recently remodeled in total with new, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Custom just about everything—no cookie cutter used here.
Living/Dining
Open plan living and dining rooms are spread across the new, UV-coated windows to the view. The dining area is lit with a modern chandelier and large enough for a six-top dining table. The living room has a unique feature: a secret closet behind the bookshelf.
Kitchen
Wide, custom hardwood countertops, with plenty of room for two cooks to work. Recently purchased stainless steel gas range, refrigerator, and huge Kohler farmhouse sink with Franke faucet. The dishwasher, next to the sink, is also stainless steel clad. Well lit and bright.
Bedroom
The bedroom is bright, and is set up in a suite arrangement, with dressing area, large walk-in closet that has an inner closet for shoes and bags.
Main Bath
A marble-topped dual vanity is the centerpiece for the main floor bathroom, which also features a roomy Maax shower stall with HansGrohe trim, and a Toto toilet.
Laundry Room
This is something you don't find in a lot of apartments, a separate laundry room; most have the machines in a closet if they have them at all. A rolling barn door closes it off from the rest of the bathroom — out of sight, out of mind.
The Loft
Coming with the apartment is a loft which runs the length of the house, with its own killer views. It has its own entry from the main staircase, so it makes a perfect office space or hobby room. It even has its own half bath. We can't offer the space as a bedroom, but we recognize that some may use it that way despite this, so safety measures have been built in just in case.
Parking place & Yard
A parking strip comes with the apartment, along with a fully fenced yard shaded by two mature Japanese maples.
Neighborhood & Transportation
The west side of Queen Anne is like a small town with a big city just over the rise, a perfect mix. The No. 1 Bus stopping at the end of the block goes straight downtown. In fact, you can walk downtown in about 50 minutes, and to Seattle Center in 30. There is a restaurant, a coffeehouse, and a spa on the block, and it's a 10-minute walk to eateries on McGraw and a 20-minute walk to QA Ave with even more restaurants and shopping.
About the House
The Upper Apartment is a one-of-a-kind unit in a solid, historic 1911 Queen Anne Craftsman house. The place was part of a family dairy farm, and, in fact, the building out back was its barn. There are only 2 units in the building.
Water, sewer and garbage are included, while the tenant handles gas, electric and Internet.
